Inkstorm DTF transfers are engineered with flexible TPU adhesive technology designed to move with the fabric. When properly applied, the transfer maintains a soft, flexible hand feel while allowing the graphic to stretch and recover with the garment.
The result is a print that feels integrated with the apparel rather than sitting heavily on top of it.
That matters particularly for oversized streetwear graphics, heavyweight hoodies, athletic apparel, and garments where comfort and movement are part of the product experience.
Vibrant Color on Dark Fabrics
Dark garments create one of the biggest challenges in apparel printing: the fabric itself can interfere with the appearance of the artwork.
Without an effective white underbase, bright colors can lose their intensity against black, charcoal, or other dark substrates.
Inkstorm uses a high-opacity white underbase beneath the color layer to create the separation necessary for vibrant artwork. Combined with calibrated color-management workflows, this helps maintain strong contrast, clean details, and consistent color reproduction across a wide range of garments.

24-Hour Production Turnaround
Our production workflow is designed around a 24-hour production turnaround so your custom transfers can move from order confirmation into the shipping process quickly.
Production time and transit time are separate stages. Once production is complete, the order moves into the appropriate shipping network.
That distinction matters because honest timelines are better for your business than unrealistic promises.
Fast Hot-Peel Workflow
Waiting for transfers to cool between every garment can become a serious production bottleneck.
Inkstorm's hot-peel transfer system is designed to allow the carrier film to be removed shortly after the press opens, when the transfer is still hot.
That means:
Press → Peel → Continue.
Less waiting means a faster workflow and more productive time at the heat press.
Priority Shipping
Once your transfers complete production and quality control, they move into the shipping process through our priority carrier network.
For eligible destinations and services, this can significantly shorten the time between production and arrival at your workshop.
Because carrier transit times can vary, we separate our 24-hour production turnaround from the actual shipping transit window.
4. MATERIALS, COMPLIANCE & RESPONSIBLE PRODUCTION

Inkstorm uses water-based printing technology and materials selected with apparel safety and production performance in mind. Our production materials include OEKO-TEX®-certified components, helping support apparel applications where material safety and responsible manufacturing standards matter.
For brands supplying retail customers, this level of material transparency can be an important part of the production decision.
5. ENGINEERED FOR THE SHOP FLOOR
Great DTF production doesn't end when the transfer leaves the factory.
The final result depends on what happens when the transfer reaches your heat press.
That's why our system is designed as a complete production workflow—not simply a printed piece of film.
The Basic Application Sequence
1. Prepare the garment
Pre-press the blank garment for approximately 3–5 seconds to help remove moisture and flatten the surface.
2. Apply the transfer
Position the transfer carefully and use the appropriate temperature, time, and pressure for the specific fabric.
3. Hot peel
Remove the carrier film immediately after opening the press according to the transfer's hot-peel requirements.
4. Final seal
Apply a protective sheet and perform the recommended secondary press to finish the bond and optimize the surface feel.
